How Susie Started in Construction: Susie started working in construction company to be their receptionist, secretary, field payroll clerk, and accounts payable clerk.
What Susie Loves Most About Her Job: “The diversity of the work. Due to my knowledge of accounting and job cost, I can do just about any position in the company.”
What Career Advice Does Susie Offer to Women Considering a Career in Construction?
There are lots of opportunity for women in construction today compared to when I was younger. You will have to prove yourself because it has been a man’s world for a long time but that doesn’t mean you are not worthy of the profession. If you have determination and purpose you can tackle any job no matter what.
