If you were to give young women (high schoolers) advice about beginning a career in construction, what would you say?
To look at all aspects of the industry. There are so many opportunities in the industry. Construction just isn’t about running equipment; it is being part of a team. It takes all kinds of jobs to do, to get the work done from office work, to scheduling jobs, or trucks, safety positions, estimating, working in a lab testing material for jobs, mechanics, being a flagger, working a sign crew, or running equipment. The jobs are endless, and rewarding.
