What was your path to a career in construction? Working for an electrical distributor allowed me to get front and center on many of central Ohio’s large new construction projects.
What do you like most about working in construction? The ability to connect with great down to earth people and seeing a vision being built.
This year’s theme is “Keys to the Future.” What is the key to the future of construction in Ohio? Encourage more to enter the trades – we need more skill and diversity in the work force.
If you were to give young women (high schoolers) advice about beginning a career in construction? Go for it! No wage gap! Women earn the same as their male counterparts. The most equal pay industry!
